One Love - Bob Marley

One Love! One Heart!
Let's get together and feel all right.
Hear the children cryin' (One Love!);
Hear the children cryin' (One Heart!),
Sayin': give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right;
Sayin': let's get together and feel all right. Wo wo-wo wo-wo!

Let them all pass all their dirty remarks (One Love!);
There is one question I'd really love to ask (One Heart!):
Is there a place for the hopeless sinner,
Who has hurt all mankind just to save his own beliefs?

One Love! What about the one heart? One Heart!
What about - ? Let's get together and feel all right
As it was in the beginning (One Love!);
So shall it be in the end (One Heart!),
All right!
Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right;
Let's get together and feel all right.
One more thing!
Let's get together to fight this Holy Armagiddyon (One Love!),
So when the Man comes there will be no, no doom (One Song!).
Have pity on those whose chances grows t'inner;
There ain't no hiding place from the Father of Creation.

Sayin': One Love! What about the One Heart? (One Heart!)
What about the - ? Let's get together and feel all right.
I'm pleadin' to mankind! (One Love!);
Oh, Lord! (One Heart) Wo-ooh!

Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right;
Let's get together and feel all right.
Give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right;
Let's get together and feel all right.

Together, with courage individual and collective intelligence, have begun to reclaim one of the most dangerous minefields for the path of peace. That of communication. Partisan. Often reduced to propaganda. Still unaware of the reasons of the other. So these guys wanted to testify personally to their vision of peace.
And they did together devising the story and characters of Peace of Peace, assisted by some of the best experts and their production companies and animation studios. Pace of Peace is also a song, the soundtrack of cardboard, designed and donated by two famous female singer-songwriters, Rim Banna the Palestinian and the Israeli Noa.

Spesso ridotta a propaganda.

The Story of Bob Marley

Rebel Music - The Bob Marley Story (2001)

The legend of Bob Marley (1945-1981) is well served by this comprehensive and clear-eyed look at the turbulent life and times of the reggae great. Jeremy Marre's documentary presents the man as a vitally important artist, but a flawed--if immensely appealing--human being. The trajectory of his rise is traced from his humble beginnings as the son of a poor, teenage mother in rural Jamaica to the heights of international superstardom in the 1970s. Along the way, Marre provides a context for the development of his artistry by exploring the political situation in Jamaica at the time, the roots of Rastafarianism (to which he was intensely devoted), and his unconventional relationships with women. Although he remained close to wife, Rita, until his death, Marley enjoyed a number of public relationships with other women (Rita admits she found this difficult; Marley claims he didn't see anything unusual about it). The sheer number of interviews is impressive. Aside from the clips of Marley himself, Bunny Livingstone and Peter Tosh (the Wailers), Island Records founder Chris Blackwell, two Jamaican prime ministers (Socialist Michael Manley and Conservative Edward Seaga), and even a CIA official (Philip Agee) all make an appearance. The breadth of Marley's music is represented by over 40 tracks, from the early ska hit "Judge Not" to later political numbers like "Africa Unite." Although Marley never actually considered himself a "political" person, he was surely a rebel--brave, passionate, committed--in the best sense of the word.

Zip

Why Bob Marley?

There was once a man really think that the music could change things.

There was once a man who thought it best to Strap on a guitar instead of a rifle.

There was once a man who relied on the words and messages that others relied on violence and terror.

There was once a man who discovered how much love and mental health confer the presence of Jah. And for this, he decided to love him and glorify him in everything he did.

There was once a man who understood what the sacred herb you could make free and informed.

There was once a man who decided to stand alongside the weak in order to share the sufferings and struggles.

Once upon a time Bob Marley. There was, is and always will be his thinking and his testimony of life!

Adapted from Reggae Revolution No 3

Robert Nesta Marley said Bob (Nine Mile, February 6, 1945 - Miami, May 11, 1981) was a songwriter, singer, guitarist Jamaican reggae. With his music, Bob Marley, he has given himself among the greats of young people, but mostly failed to spread the profound ideals of freedom that still give support to oppressed peoples.

Bob Marley says: I do not have prejudice against myself. My father was white and my mother was black. Call me half-caste, or something like that. But I do not side with anyone, nor for the white man nor the black man. I am on the side of God, the one who created me and made sure I came to be generated from black and white.

[...] Until the color of a man no longer significant in the color of his eyes [...] the dream of lasting peace and world citizenship and the rule of international morality will remain only a wishful thinking, from search without ever being able to achieve.

Growing grass is not legal? If there is God who has given you then say that God is not legal?

Fight the devil with a thing called love.

They say you can not smoke grass, they say it is illegal, that makes you a rebel .... rebel against whom?

God gave me life and my view is: if you gave me life so that should take it back back? Only the devil says that we must all die.

God never said: go to college to find out who is truly God. God is a simple concept that even children can learn.

Where is the hell is Babylon. But the devil has no power over me: when I shake his hand. Jah protect me, He said: "Fear not, fear not."

It is the night I hear the real music: frogs, crickets, the sounds of nature. The music is the song of the earth.That's life with which we deal. Not death.

He who sees the light and know it, will live.The quiet moments of today are the sad thoughts of tomorrow.

Money does not matter, music counts. When the record first think of the money to the music, the music will not have the value that they think it has.

Money is not important ... God is important, the sky, the air is important. Money is not nothing, only serve to make man a slave.

Money is the root of all evil. They were created to keep people in chains, are a substitute for reality.

Wailers The name comes from the Bible. There are many places where you meet people who complain. The children are crying, crying for justice.

Reggae become a form of struggle, if not already occurred. It is the music of the Third World. You should not try to understand it in one day but take a little 'time and leave it to grow inside you.

The reggae music is carrying out head high, to be up to it you must be proud and aware of the sense of creation. The rock is combined with neon lights, artificial lighting and the reggae do not need a disco or a club, can be anywhere better in the hills.

I love the countryside. I want to live on a farm. Not really want to live in an apartment.I am not of this world, you know. Living in this world but not of the world.I'm not famous to me.

I am just what they are, not what people want me to be.

I am a prophet? I popular? I have always been popular. Have 5 good friends already be popular.

I come from the countryside, where you have the possibility to grow everything and you do not need to go out and kill to find a job or money, you can eat, wash, build everything from home to a pair of shoes .. . I like to be a farmer.

Revelation occurs every day on the streets.

The West has no future.

Alcohol destroys the grass while constructs.

The man has a universe within himself.

Man can not be a slave and if you say that you can not sing a new song like Kaya, Devi Ricanto. See we do not have to run too much, we must always leave some room so people can reach you.

Politics did not interest me, is the devil's bargain. The politicians are playing with people's heads.

Never play with people's heads.Life and God are the same. God is the gift of life. I am forever in some way because they are unique, not duplicated. The singularity of every man and every woman is a gift from Jah.

The thing that makes music beautiful is that we never reach perfection. So every night I wonder: How will the song? How can I make it up? Sometimes something goes wrong so you have to try again. One day I discovered something new, a new feeling. It's nice.

The best thing that ever happened is that two popes died the other day. True, true. One of the sweetest things that ever happened. Rasta in Jamaica I pray every day that they die more Popes. So when a pope is a heart attack, you can imagine the scenes of joy in Jamaica. We are happy, we are celebrating!

People in America do not feel oppressed because they have many material things. He has a job, food, money. And it is these things that oppress!

People want to hear a message, a message from God This message may pass through me or by someone else. I am not a leader, I'm just a messenger. The lyrics and who sings them are important and attract people.

My music will live forever. Maybe it is stupid to say, but when they are sure of things, I say.

My music will live forever.

Fear is the worst enemy of man.

Who's afraid of dreaming is destined to die.

Removed yourself from mental slavery, none other than ourselves can free our minds ...

Bob's last words were addressed to his son Ziggy Marley: "Money can not buy life" ( "money does not buy life").

Bob Marley has had thirteen children [10], three with his wife Rita, two adopted from Rita's previous relationships, and the eight other through relationships with women from whom they are then separated.

Bob Marley dice:Io non ho pregiudizi contro me stesso. Mio padre era bianco e mia madre era nera.
Così ogni sera mi chiedo: come affronterò quel brano? Come posso renderlo al massimo? Qualche volta qualche cosa va storto così devi riprovarci.

Bob Marley No Woman No Cry

No Woman, No Cry "is a reggae song made famous by Bob Marley and his group The Wailers.The song made a first round the world in 1974 through the studio album Natty Dread. However, it is perhaps the best known live version from the 1975 album Live! Version that was included in the greatest hits compilation Legend. Although it was written by Bob Marley himself, the copyrights of this song were made payable to "V. Ford". Vincent Ford (1940-2008) was a friend of Marley, director of the soup kitchen in Trenchtown, the ghetto of Kingston, Jamaica where Marley grew up. The revenue from the fees of the song have ensured the survival and efficiency of the table to this day.A better yield of the title in Jamaican Creole could be "No, woman, nuh cry". The 'nuh', which makes it a more vocal sound contract of "no" is the equivalent of the contraction "do not".The version of Marley & the Wailers No Woman, No Cry occupies the number 37 in The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Bob Marley Tree Little Birds

Three Little Birds (three little birds) is a song by Bob Marley in this second part of his album "Exodus of 1977.It was written by Marley in Kingston (Jamaica), the year before.

At the time Marley was accustomed to sit in the backyard to smoke grass.

Every time you rolled a new cigarette, three little birds were pecking at the seeds that fell.

The vision of these three birds, who ate quietly and in peace, the reggae inspired song that spoke of not worrying too much of your own destiny.

Tour of five Continents without money and luggage

I just finished a book on a trip around the world, as the Orientals say, only a European can be the idea of touring the world without money and luggage. The book I'm talking about is "The big dream, around the world without a penny in my pocket" by Matthew Pennacchi, conducted a turn now back in 1999.
From here the obvious input from this book that makes you that strange idea of beating a record while traveling with a great desire to get to finish the journey and then again ... The true traveler never stops!
Post here the question that I proposed on the social network Facebook, where to date I have 550 friends from around the world, waiting for many others who will follow me in my business!
If I am organizing a tour of five continents without a penny in my pocket and without baggage, without wanting to beat a record, an Italian Matteo Pennacchi, your Facebook friends are willing to give me a corner of your home to rest and a plate of rice, to demonstrate your human brotherhood among peoples, for a geographical distance that does not exist ... Commented and let's see who comes out ...

The last trip of Giorgio Bettinelli

Not everyone can understand Italian, let alone understand what it says Giorgio Bettinelli in this great video of the Feltrinelli Editore. First of all, who was Giorgio Bettinelli?

(Crema, 15 May 1955 - Jinghong, China, September 16, 2008) was a journalist, writer, songwriter and Italian travelers.

Arts degree at the University of Rome, is famous for its four long trips made aboard a Vespa. In fact, during his stay in Indonesia, as payment of a series of debts, he is presented with a Vespa fell in love immediately.

His first trip departs from Mentana, where he was resident in the province of Rome, in 1992 assigned Saigon, where he arrives nine months later - March 1993 - covering 24,000 kilometers. The second part to arrive from Anchorage to Tierra del Fuego and lasts from 1994 to 1995 on a journey of 36,000 kilometers. The third connects Melbourne to Cape Town, for a total of 52,000 km run between 1995 and 1996. The fourth and last, called Odyssey Worldwide, is a veritable world tour, lasting more than three years, from October 1997 to May 2001: the place of departure is the Tierra del Fuego and destination and Tasmania . It covers 144,000 kilometers through Alaska, Siberia, entering Africa through the Strait of Gibraltar, and by walking across to Djibouti through again to Cape Town, then drive along the entire south Asia from Yemen to Indonesia , until the last continent, Australia, and the final destination, Tasmania. During this trip Giorgio Bettinelli was also kidnapped by a guerrilla group in Congo, but was released shortly afterwards robbed of everything but his life saved. The now-experienced pilot travelers decided not to stop, and then had another great trip in the only country he has not path with China (where he moved and married), which was followed by the exit his latest book La Cina in Vespa.

Giorgio Bettinelli died in Jinghong, China, September 16, 2008, at the age of 53 years for a sudden illness. There he lived for four years, on the banks of the Mekong, with his wife Yapei. Was preparing another book, this time on Tibet.

Giorgio Bettinelli in this video says:

Unlike the other four trips made before the wasp, this fifth trip has a specialty all its own, since the four previous trips have led me in the course of fifteen years to cover, 260.000km in 134 countries around the world twice five continents.

This fifth trip, but covers only one country was a trip of a year and a half in which I have a zig zag path, but also identifying the route less zig zag, zig schizophrenic zagante eventually was because, The objective of this trip was ok through an exhaustive one country, touching all the capitals, of the 33 geographic areas, 34 for China include Taiwan, 33 geographic areas make up this huge mosaic of China, which is now, it has become fashionable to call big question of China's economic boom, and which I for one, like many other Europeans and Italians, little is known, if one says Missouri, Minnesota, Texas, Arcansal, good or bad, everyone knows where they go to parry if you say Ouba, Eibay, Henan, Ounan, Sinjan, Jeinjan, which are states and provinces, as big as American ones, if not much more, little is known yet. I already lived in China for two years and a half, when I managed to get a Chinese driving license, a driving Chinese, was not recognized internationally, simultaneously with the gesture that I stuck it in the pocket, there's been this idea why not try to make a trip, then over time they told me that was never done, nor ever by a Chinese first, because there was not just the historical conditions and economic to do so, let not by a foreigner.

More often I was asked when you finish a trip, what do you feel?

Before I have always traveled, I traveled in a manner that is also almost pathological, because at fourteen I went hitchhiking from Crema, where I was born in Copenhagen, not only with the permission, but with the money my father, fifteen years North Africa was then, at seventeen was the baptism of the road, baptism, confirmation and active militancy all at once, which made me take a magic bus, those who left full of scocciatoni of freak, which left London from Trieste there was an empty seat for me, and that was really the first trip, "72 to seventeen years, India was quite different from what is now, and besides, I too was. And then there were these other trip, then these four, now five trips wasp.

The common denominator, especially the latter, once arrived at destination, and crossed the line Mental arrival of a syndrome, "Yeh-Yeh I've done," and sometimes when we talk about African wasp crossed with a journey from Tangier to Cape Town, Cape Town in Djibouti, 30 African realities, of which fifteen were at war, and in brutal war, not the tank, which is a machete, in areas such as: Sierra Leone , Liberia, there are no past, but I skirted the border, Angola, in 1999, was perhaps the most hellish country, the worst country where a child could be born.

Ever happened to me this, for each arrival, beyond this explosion of joy that in truth there never was, the strongest feeling was that of the, melancholy, because the journey was over, especially after the first Travel from Rome to Saigon, I did not know if I could do another one, but meanwhile there have been many, but this sadness larvatamente aromatic arrival, there's always been.

If one leaves for a short trip, a week, a month, may be left at home all the rest and only focus on the journey before him, who is running for sixteen years in wasp, must also be focused on his life, on What is happening inside him at that time, and not just on a much more documentation that goes on around him.

And China is a country with incredible, the stimuli for the points of reflection, for history, which was often tragic, but to me these things were happening in the meantime, and then start thinking to censor this part staff, only to tell what they saw his eyes, then I said, no sincerity is not up to who is writing his life on the go, and I really put the soul in the square, telling what has now happened to me , which takes away in terms of numbers, perhaps a half of the book, in a Chinese context, because now there are four and a half years that I live there, with little indulgence towards me, sometimes with little mercy, registering with the heart hand what was happening inside, and around, with the sincerity of a person sincere or a fool, depending on your point of view.

And I hope that the book has come out, you like.

Nepal discovery un'avventura nel mondo

"It may be snobbery, conditioning of the current fashion, a desire to do something different, exiting from the routine of daily life can be a subtle reminder of the exotic. Many factors can prompt us to take a trip to the East and many regions have can meet our most varied requirements, but once you arrive in Nepal that we can not surrender to its charm, its serene and relaxed atmosphere that envelops.
This charm at first only occasionally, is transformed with time and contact with residents, in a love far deeper that stimulate us to improve our understanding of people living in this land, the knowledge of their environment and come back whenever you have the time and availability.
Nepal, its inhabitants and their way of life is ever more firmly rooted in our souls to become part of ourselves. But what does this focus? Difficult to give an answer that has the character of universality, but it is certain that many are aspects that make this small town a unique place in the world. It is the diversity of the landscape, which lusureggiante by tropical vegetation of the south and the green valleys of the center goes to the majestic peaks of the mountains and captivating the world's highest, both the profile architecture of cities and villages (it is no coincidence that Kathmandu is known as the Florence of Asia) can not remain indifferent to the Western visitor. Salam Aleikum

In gamba amici e zaino in spalla, doppiamo camminare!!
